Empowerment Project--Not At Fault Video

This is a video I made for the NAF project, which I discussed here last week. It's not perfect, but I'm proud of it anyway.

  1. Great video, Alina. I'm so proud to know you and wanted to let you know I read your book in 1 sitting the day I received it. Thank you for writing it. So important for young people to read. I know it will make a HUGE difference.

    1. I read it in one sitting, too! I couldn't put it down! I think I started reading it around midnight, telling myself I'd only read one chapter--ha!

    2. Thank you so much, Michele and Liza! You've both made my rainy day bright. <3

  2. Alina, your story is amazing and I hope that many people will find comfort and strength and courage in this-->"I believe in your innocence. You don't have to prove your innocence to me."

And, just like Michele, once I started reading RAPE GIRL, I couldn't stop! This book WILL make a huge difference. I want to see it as part of a high school reading curriculum.

Thank you for writing the book, for sharing your story, and I'm happy that you're in my life.

  4. Beautiful, Alina. Perfection is for the weak; the strong know it doesn't exist. ;)
